A Bejeweled Affirmation

I gifted this necklace to my best friend and I was anxious to see what it would end up being. When she received the necklace, she told me it had a dove on it that stood for “peace”. Well, “peace” was the word God had spoken to her as her word for this year. She even found affirmation through my choice of the silver necklace, as it aligned with a Bible passage on the purification of silver, that ministered to her as well.

It was a novel experience, purchasing a gift for someone when I don’t have control over the final product. But, the result was so divinely perfect that I was also encouraged by God’s sovereignty. Who would’ve thought a little necklace would be a testimony to the goodness of God?
