TESTIMONIES HERALD BREAKTHROUGH

"The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10

Testimonies are a tangible way for us to not only remember what God has done in our lives, but also for us to remember His very nature and all the ways that He cares for us and takes care of us.  Additionally, as we celebrate how He has moved in the past, we create space for Him to move in our lives again.  Recounting what God has done in our lives is similar to readying a room for a guest.  We do all that we can to prepare for them and to anticipate their arrival, waiting with eagerness.  It’s as if in readying ourselves for God to move, we make room for Him to do just that.  This month, remember the testimony of what God has done in the past and make room for Him to do it again.

RADICAL FAITH

“Give God the right to direct your life,
And as you trust Him along the way,
You’ll find that He pulled it off perfectly.”
Psalm 37.5 (The Passion Translation)

In preparing our hearts, submitting to His perfect plan, and putting all of our faith in Him and what He is fully able to do, we create space  in our mindsets and expectations for the miraculous.  To honestly and intentionally place our  faith in Him might mean that we get rid of our Plan B, and that we fully invest in Him and what He chooses to do.  We know that our faith in Him is important,  for ‘it is impossible to please God without faith.’ (Hebrews 11.6)

LET FREEDOM RING

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3.17

The sound of church bells ringing often reminds us of new beginnings, like the sound of a married couple joining their lives together.  The bells are ringing this month, and they are ushering in freedom to walk through open doors and to take on new opportunities.  This is a time of shedding the old ways and choosing to boldly embrace the new.  Whatever it is that has held you back in the past, it no longer has any hold on you.  Many people are finding themselves at a crossroads - able to let go of old mindsets, old relationships, and old beliefs.  By choosing to release these old patterns, you are now free to move forward into your destiny.

CELEBRATE EVEN THE SMALLEST VICTORIES

“We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

When we make a decision to intentionally celebrate even the smallest victories, not only are we choosing to enrich our lives with markers of significance and change, but we are opening the doorway to even greater victories.  There is significance in noticing and honoring even the smallest win.  What can you celebrate today?

SUPERNATURAL GRACE

“There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1

Grace is the ability to see ourselves as God sees us: redeemed, set free, and forgiven. As we begin to grab ahold of the grace that is available for ourselves, we then are able to extend grace to others and to make room for them. From there, the cycle continues outward, all of us creating patterns of grace.

MY FIRST AND MY LAST

Revelation 22.13 declares that Jesus is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. There is power when we bring that into our own lives.  He wants to be your last thought at night when you go to bed, and your first thought in the morning.  He is calling to you to make Him your First and your Last.

We at The Crowning Jewels believe in the absolute transformational power of declarations.  We know that truth comes by hearing (Romans 10.17), and that speaking truth is a way to renew our minds (Romans 12.2). We also believe that in speaking forth these declarations, you will change your life.  We invite you to partner with what God is doing, and say these declarations for the remainder of the month.  We would love to hear what God does!  Please email us your testimony at tellyourstory@thecrowningjewels.com.
