April Bespoke Inspired
April is a pivotal time to shift our mindsets and our beliefs to align with truth over our circumstances. We have an invitation to believe, trust and hope for the promises for which we are believing, for the answer, for the breakthrough before we even see it. It is a time to celebrate and thank Him before we have tasted our breakthrough, because our faith is in the One Who is Faithful and who is always good. The King of Glory is us, and us and working all things together for our good. God is raising our gaze and perfecting our vision.
Truth (Chrysanthemum) For many March (and this past season) have been full of trials and tribulations, stretching to the extreme, and for some it has felt like you’ve even reached your personal breaking point. The enemy has overplayed his hand, and in the end, He DOES NOT win. Jesus knew we would struggle, and even said “In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart for I have overcome the world,” John 16.33. We know that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but the only power that he has is the power that we give him. We have the real power, and we are on the winning team! That does not mean that our life is a bed of roses, in fact, often it’s quite the opposite. It is in those times that we must remind ourselves of truth: God is faithful even when we are not. He is always good. He sent His only Son to die for you and for me. It is in the midst of these challenging times that it is most important to spend time in God’s presence, to recalibrate our heart to His, and to declare truth over our situations. The truth of who He is trumps the enemy’s play . Jesus is fighting on our behalf and He has gone ahead of us, and He is wrapping his arms around us even now.
Victory (crystal medallion) As believers we have an opportunity to make an agreement with heaven before we see it in the natural. We have the privilege and the ability to live from a place of victory at all times. In 2 Chronicles 20.15 we are reminded that “The battle is not yours, but God’s.” Isaiah 64.4 reveals to us that “God acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.” He is our Defender, and our bright and shining Shield. He wants victory in our lives more than we do, and we are never alone in our battle. Don’t let your circumstances or your emotions color your attitude or the posture of your heart, for they are not necessarily the evidence of what’s going on. Trust in God’s promises to you, the truth of who He is, and you will be able to thrust that mountain into the sea.
Pure heart David cried out to the Lord “Create in me a pure heart” in Psalm 51.10. There are some that are born with a purity and an innocence, but for the rest of us, it is something we have to be intentional about. In Psalm 24 David asks who may ascend the hill of the Lord, and it is those with clean hands and a pure heart. God values so much our intention to keep ourselves pure, to not defile ourselves with impure thoughts or forces. We are the guardian of our heart, and thus we are charged with an important duty: not partnering with offense, keeping a short list of wrongs, keeping negative influences out of our lives, and always choosing to partner with the truth of God. The presence of God, above all else, has the ability to transform us to become more like the one that we worship. Being in His presence has the ability to heal us with His love, comfort our fears and free us from our shame.
Sight to the blind This is an exciting time that God is perfecting vision. He is giving sight to the blind in the natural, but He is also transforming vision in the spirit realm. For those that are blind to the truth of who He is and His goodness, He is giving them the ability to see Him in new ways. For those who have not encountered His love in a transformational way, He is opening your eyes to see how great His love is for you. God is also increasing prophetic vision and insight right now, with an influx of dreams, visions and even an ability to see in a new way that you’ve never known before.
Lift up your head God is calling you higher, inviting you to lift your head and see who He calls you. You are His beloved, His chosen one, His hope for the nations. Be alert to distractions and all that might call you away from His engaging gaze. He sees you for all that you are, all the beauty that you possess, every single thing that you’ve done and He loves you because of it, and in spite of it. He loves you. He loves you. He loves you. You are His precious child, and in the midst of all that is going on around you, He wants to see your beautiful face, so lift up your head.
